Decant of the Museum

Since the museum’s close on the 17th May, the staff at Surgeons’ Hall Museum have been busy decanting the entire collection. This complete process took six weeks, with all items in the Museum being successfully transferred into storage. The Lister Project Contractor Appointed

The College looked at a wide range of contractors and evaluated their capabilities taking into account quality and track record and accordingly, John Dennis & Company (Scotland) Ltd has been appointed as the Main Contractor for the Lister Project.

The Great Exhibition

Move to The Serenity Café

On 1st June, Words and Deeds, Weapons and Wounding opened at The Serenity Café at The Tun on Holyrood Road. Surgeons' Hall Museum Closure

Surgeons' Hall Museum is now closed to the public. As part of a Heritage Lottery Funded Redevelopment Project, the museum will be closed until Summer 2015.
