Website Accessibility

This website has been built with accessibility and usability in mind, so we hope you can find, access and use the information you need easily. This page explains the accessibility features available on the website.

Changing Text Size

There are two methods for changing the size of the text while browsing through this website:

  • Changing the text display settings in your Internet browser (affects every website viewed)
  • Changing the text size within the Surgeons' Hall Museums website (affects only this website)

Changing the text display settings in your Internet browser

You can change the text size settings in your Internet browser. In Internet Explorer this is done by going to the 'View' menu and selecting the 'Text size' option. The default value is Medium.

To change the text display settings in Firefox, again go to the 'View' menu and select the 'Text size' option. Then choose either Increase or Decrease. To return the text to its default size select Normal.

Changing the text size within the Surgeons' Hall Museums website

You can change the text size of the main content areas in this website by clicking on one of the "change text size" buttons at the top of every page:

decrease text size decreases the text size

increase text size increases the text size

reset text size resets the text to its default size
