Join us at Surgeons' Hall Museums this Breast Cancer Awareness Month for an inspiring evening exploring the history of breast cancer treatment and the advances shaping care today.
Led by breast surgeon Miss Beatrix Elsberger in collaboration with Surgeons' Hall Museums, the event will feature a series of talks from leading specialists in breast surgery. The talks will explore the history of breast cancer surgery, examining how treatment has changed over the centuries and the advances that have shaped modern breast cancer care. With a focus on current surgical practice, our speakers will share insights into the latest approaches to treatment and the innovations improving outcomes for patients today.
The Museum's Pathology Galleries will open at 6:30pm, where you can visit a range of information stalls hosted by breast cancer charities and specialist clinicians. This informal session offers a chance to ask questions, learn about support services and resources, and chat with experts in a welcoming environment ahead of the talks, which begin at 7:00pm.
