Join this Zoom event where we discuss Hoax with author, cultural historian and broadcaster Dr Madeleine Pelling

Join us for an engaging Zoom talk with historian and author Madeleine Pelling discussing her new book, Hoax.

Madeleine will be in conversation with Cat Irving, Anatomist and Human Remains Conservator at Surgeons' Hall Museums, exploring the fascinating history of hoaxes, frauds, and fakes. Drawing on stories from across the centuries, Hoax examines why people deceive, why others believe, and what these extraordinary tales reveal about society and human nature.

It is not necessary to have read Hoax to join this event, but if you would like to, copies can be found here.
