Catgut Surgical Ligature

Glass bottle of sterilized surgical ligature, catgut, No.0,1 and 2, in original box. Only a few centimetres of catgut remain on one of the three bobbins in the bottle. While called catgut, the sutures are usually made from sheep or goat intestines.
