Ampoule of chloroform

An ampoule of liquid chloroform for anaesthesia, salvaged from the battleship Hindenburg. On the 21st June 1919 this ship became the last of the German fleet to be scuttled into the Scapa Flow at the end of World War I. The one-use sealed unit kept the contents sterile. The tip would be snapped off to get the contents out.
