Prosthetic Knee

Our final object in our focus on prosthetics this month is this metal prosthetic knee. This particular prosthesis would have be used to relieve pain from either a traumatic injury or arthritis etc. The artificial joint is designed to move just like a normal healthy joint and is most commonly anchored into place by connecting the bone to the joint with bone cement.
