Illustration of histopathology made by Dr James Dawson (1870-1927)

Dawson was a recipient of the Syme Fellowship in Surgery (1910), but devoted much of his life to histology and research into the pathological nature of tumours and other tissues. This illustration shows giant cell area in the fibrous tissue of humerus.
