We're still open!

8 October 2020
Following the announcement made by the Scottish Government on the 7th of October we would like to confirm that we are still open.

We will be open as 7 days a week, from 10am-5pm as usual.

Things you need to know before you visit:

  • Visitors can make a reservation to visit. Reservations are free to make and tickets can be purchased on arrival. Tickets are £8 for adults and £4.50 for concessions. Reservations can be made on our eventbrite page here. Reservations are not mandatory to visit but are recommended to avoid disappointment.
  • In line with advice from the Scottish Government, face masks are mandatory (unless medically exempt)
  • Please pay by card, preferably contactless where possible.
  • There will be a one way system in operation. This is marked out by arrows on the floor.
  • Visitors are asked to maintain a social distance of 2 metres.
  • There are hand sanitising stations throughout the museums.
  • Increased cleaning of all touch points and toilets.
  • We will be asking visitors to leave contact details to assist with Test and Protect.
  • If you feel unwell with any COVID-19 symptoms please stay at home.
  • Due to current Scottish Government advice, group sizes are limited to no more than 6 people from 2 different households. We ask our visitors to please adhere to these restrictions to help stop the spread of the virus.

We have been certified "Good to Go" by Visit Scotland. The Good to Go scheme recognises businesses that have followed government and industry COVID-19 guidelines, ensuring processes are in place to maintain cleanliness and aid social/physical distancing.
