Join us for this bite sized lunch time talk exploring the history of medicine.

This talk celebrates our new temporary exhibition, Edinburgh City of Medicine, created in collaboration with the University of Edinburgh.

Andrew Brown, Research Fellow at the University of Edinburgh’s Centre for Biomedicine, Self and Society, explores his personal connection to the Polish School of Medicine. The school was established at the University of Edinburgh in 1941 during the Second World War to support Polish civilians and medical students who had been displaced by the war.

Talks will last approximately 30 mins and there will be tea and coffee available for ticket holders.
