Scalpel , Microscope And Simulation - EVENTBRITE (2)

As part of National Pathology Week we are delighted to bring you an evening lecture exploring the evolution of Forensic Pathology.

Join Professor Ralph BouHaidar, Personal Chair of Forensic Pathology at the University of Edinburgh, for an insightful talk on the changing role and training of forensic pathologists. The University of Edinburgh, home to one of the world’s oldest forensic pathology departments, has been at the forefront of pioneering both practice and specialist training in the field.

In this lecture, Professor BouHaidar will guide us through how the perception and education of forensic pathologists have evolved over the years, leading up to the cutting-edge practices used today. Drawing on his extensive experience as a Consultant Forensic Pathologist and Associate Postgraduate Dean, he will shed light on the realities of the profession and the critical role it plays in modern medicine and law.
