Copy Of Patch Working The Eye 2

Join Surgeons' Hall Museums and Artist Consuelo Rosa Servan for this workshop introducing the basics of Patchwork and Textile Art through the exploration of the anatomy of the eye.

Our new temporary exhibition Examining the Eye; Medicines Oldest Speciality looks at the study and treatment of eye diseases which can trace its beginnings to ancient Babylon and Egypt. This workshop will draw inspiration from this exhibition while you are introduced to techniques used in textile art such as piecing, appliqué, and layering.

All materials are provided, and you will be able to take your work home with you at the end of the workshop.

No experience necessary.
