Tickets For Our Winter Events Programme On Sale Now!

31 October 2019
Our Winter events programme is here!

Next month our Library and Archive will be joined by award-winning writers Ambrose Parry, who will be discussing the inspiration behind their novels 'The Way of All Flesh' and 'The Art of Dying'. Tickets for the Surgeons' Hall 2019  Library Lecture are available here.

In January our Senior Research Fellow, Ken Donaldson, will be giving a talk on the puzzle of blackening lungs in the Victorian era.

We have a bit of a forensic themed February as our curator, Louise Wilkie, will be giving a talk on Edinburgh medical detectives and we will also be holding our Museum Detectives drop in sessions.

We are also delighted to announce the return of Calum and his Cool Creatures! The animal handling sessions were a massive hit in August, so don't miss your chance to get up close with some weird and wonderful animals.

Tickets for all museum events can be booked here.
