We're delighted to announce that The Centre of Population Health Science's Centenary of Public Health Lecture Series will be coming to Surgeons' Hall Museums this October. "The Health of the City of Edinburgh: 1865, 2015, and 2165", is a celebratory symposium marking the 150th anniversary of the report on the Sanitary Condition of the City of Edinburgh in 1865 by the first Medical Officer of Health, Sir Henry Littlejohn. In addition to this Iain Macintyre, former Vice President of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in its 500th year, will be giving a talk on Surgeons' Hall Museums its past, present and future at the Edinburgh City Chambers on the 19th August. This talk is free and is being organised by the Edinburgh Festival Voluntary Guides Association. More details can be found on their website.
