Time: 11am-4pm

Cost: Included in museum entry

The BSc Oral Health Sciences students and staff from the University of Edinburgh are delighted to return for a THIRD year to Surgeons Hall for the annual Restart a Heart Day campaign on Saturday 16th of October 2021. From 11 am until 4 pm the team will be located in the Education Room of the museum to teach all members of the public vital life-saving skills and current guidance in how to safely and effectively deliver coronary pulmonary resuscitation (CPR).   It is also an opportunity for those with CPR knowledge to learn the current updates in CPR delivery in response to the pandemic.

Visitors will be able to practice CPR skills on our resuscitation dummies and experience the use of Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs). All ages are welcome and training will be tailored to everyone's abilities and requirements.

The event is included within the entry ticket price to the museum attraction.

So come and visit us and learn invaluable skills which ensure you can restart a heart!
