Traditional storytelling is one of our oldest art-forms and a unique way to share our history, heritage and experiences. As part of Soutra: Surgery & Superstition, a Heritage Lottery Funded project, and in league with professional storyteller Mary Kenny, we are delighted to offer a practical introduction to live storytelling and associated skills.

Mary is a Borders based Storyteller and Artist with a particular interest in the Dark and Middle Ages, the era of Soutra, which inspires the theme of this workshop and project. This participatory workshop will be suitable for anyone curious about discovering and developing their own storytelling skills and talents!

Soutra: Surgery & Superstition is an HLF funded Stories, Stones & Bones programme developed in collaboration with DigIt!2017, TRACS and Mercat Tours as part of #HHA2017
