Golden Hare Books and Pan Macmillan are delighted to announce the launch of one of the most hotly anticipated fiction debuts of 2016: The Other Mrs. Walker by Mary Paulson-Ellis.

The Other Mrs. Walker is at once a gripping and unique detective story and a moving and profound meditation on memory, identity and loss; it sparked a bidding war among several different publishers and promises to be one of the most talked-about novels of the year.

We are extremely excited to be hosting the launch for this very special book here at Surgeons' Hall Museums on the 9th March.

As Mary explains: 'Just as Surgeons' Hall Museums explore the anatomy of the human body through all its amazing organs, so The Other Mrs Walker explores the anatomy of a human life through objects and artefacts too. They both operate as a cabinet of curiosities, leading us from past to present and back again, as we explore what makes us whole.'

Mary will be reading from the book and discussing it with Dundee’s number one literary dynamo and good friend of Golden Hare Books, Peggy Hughes. Refreshments will be provided and tickets are free, but must be booked in advance.

We very much hope to see you there.
